Sprout Travelling Film Festival

Representation in media helps to shape our social attitudes and norms and so we invited Sprout to come all the way from New York in order to present a collection of short films that were made by and with persons with developmental disabilities. In 2009, we approached the Vancouver International Film Festival to see if they were interested in folding the films into their programming, and as the films met their own exacting standards around quality, they were!
