In 2019, posAbilities invited three videography students from Emily Carr University of Art and Design (ECUAD) to team up in pairs with three folks with developmental disability in order to co-create a short film that celebrates their presence and perspectives.

Brittney and Greg: When Colour Breaks Through

When Colour Bursts Through explores the power of creation and artistic expression's ability to help process our deepest emotions. Art is for everyone: we all about the potential to create something meaningful.

Jai and Jimmy: Last Laugh

Comedian Jimmy Trinh and his best friend Gregory navigate kinship, theatre and disability with passion and a striking sense of humour.

 Svava and Miranda: Rider

Rider is an experimental documentary that follows a horseback rider as they prepare for a riding lesson. Cycling between old memories and present-day activities, the film reflects on notions of the archive, disability and therapy.”
