The Body Envelope
In 2019, Adiba Muzaffar addressed themes of skin, body, and touch as a part of a series of workshops she conducted in partnership with posAbilities. The workshops ran throughout the summer with staff, persons with disabilities and family, and culminated in an exhibition at Alternatives Gallery Space. The workshops explored themes of care, comfort and control.

Adiba Muzaffar is a writer and media artist interested in touch, embodiment, immersion and most recently the social evolution of art in virtual reality. A filmmaker and multimedia journalist in a past life, she takes forward an interest in critiquing media culture arm-in-arm with the Museum of Other Realities, among other things that pertain to her role of a Content Strategist. She is an alumna of Emily Carr University of Art + Design where she completed her MFA in 2018.
